District nurses are qualified nurses with additional training. They visit people at home, in residential homes and at the surgery. They offer care to those with acute, chronic and palliative needs as well as assessment, wound care, injections and lifestyle change advice.

Health visiting is a specialised branch of nursing. Health visitors are available to provide advice, support and counselling for families with young children. They promote family health, child development and parenting issues. A health visitor provides advice and support to adults, offering bereavement support and cardiac rehabilitation. All health visitors offer a needs-led service and are available from Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm.

The practice manager has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the practice. Our aim is to provide expert and friendly, personalised health care for you and your family. Your suggestions are always welcome and if you have any complaints, please let the practice manager know so we can sort out the problem.
Our reception staff are your first point of contact with the practice. It is their job to help and guide you. All the information they receive is treated in the strictest confidence.
